HOW I CREATE MY ART
I love to merge traditional, tactile methods with digital editing and design, incorporating multiple elements together to create my pieces. For my limited edition prints, my process incorporates different elements and steps, including photography, hand-rendered watercolours and paints, which are then all combined digitally to create these pieces. I love every stage of the process, from taking the photographs of flowers, to painting watercolours, to editing it all digitally to create my finished original works. I always seek to bring nature into my art. For my Wildflower series, I hand painted the flowers in watercolour, before putting them together digitally in organic, rambling patterns. I really love to merge the tactile with technology, bringing different mediums together seamlessly. My pieces are printed here in Melbourne with archival pigment inks on either 320 gsm textured cotton rag paper or 340 gsm fine art canvas.
